“We used MasterDrive for all three of our teens. Since we were new to the area, I wasn’t sure where to start when a friend recommended MasterDrive. Once I contacted them, I felt like this was the best fit. I was sold on how well organized the program once and how all the steps were shared upfront.
We had choices for the 30 hour instruction and the online one worked well for all three of my kids. Each of them were different in their approach to finishing up the coursework which gave them the responsibility which is so important.
MasterDrive made it easy with permit testing onsite and great instructions for getting the permit from the DMV. Any time I had questions, Mike was there to answer them for me.
Scheduling the 6 hours required driving was easy. I felt like all the coaches were just that – coaches. They were encouraging, gave constructive feedback, and really cared for my kids. They could be tough too – but in a good way knowing that putting a teen on the road requires good training!!
We are thankful that we had options for additional drive practice. While we didn’t feel this was necessary for our teens, it is a great option for reluctant or inexperienced drivers. I never felt pressured to buy these extra things, but I’m glad that if we needed them they were there.

We were also very thankful that the kids could take the drive test at Masterdrive – a place they were familiar with. We had great instruction about what was needed to take to the DMV so the license process was a breeze, as much of a breeze as a visit to the DMV can be.
I have to give a shoutout to two people in particular – Mike, who was there to help us through the process with every kid. He’s knowledgeable and friendly and having the consistency of him made the process easy each time. I also have to give a shoutout to coach Cindy who worked with all three kids as well. She has high expectations so that teens will be safe on the road. I appreciate that! I want my kids to be the best drivers they can be. Having another familiar face throughout the process was good too.
I am confident that my kids – now 19, 18, 16 are good drivers. I know that MasterDrive in partnership with our family has given them – and me the confidence that they are capable, safe, and good drivers.”
