The Most Important Things You Always Have to Keep in Your Car Trunk

Things To Keep Handy In Your Car

When you’re going out on the road, you will want to make sure you have everything you need. The alternative to that would lead to unwanted situations and hazards that could end up keeping you stuck in the middle of nowhere for a day or two – in worst case scenarios, even more.

But let’s not dwell on the negative possibilities, and let’s instead take a look at what you should always have in your car trunk before setting out on a longer journey:

  • First, make sure you have an updated first aid kit. Many drivers set out without one, and it’s only when they actually need medical attention that they find out just how crucial their medical kit really is.
  • Your spare tire, tire inflater and sealer, as well as a set of jumper cables should also be added for emergency situations when you get a flat tire or your battery stops functioning.
  • Make sure you also have a multimeter and tire pressure gauge. You need to be able to measure the pressure and voltage of your tires and battery as well.
  • Finally, never leave your house without keeping some good old fashioned duct tape in the trunk of your car. You’d be surprised at how many quick fixes it can help you with.  Find out more tips at
