  • Prepare yourself – if you are planning to drive a lot the next day, you need to be rested and calm, so go to bed early on the day before the trip, if you are a new driver, attending a Lakewood driving school is important before you plan a long road trip;
  • Plan the route – figure out your itinerary exactly, it is a good thing, even if you will be relying on your navigation system while on the road. Try to figure out where you will stop to spend the nights and check the hotels and motels in time, too;
  • Plan your stops – don’t drive for more than a couple of hours in one go, include regular stops in places where you can get out of the car, stretch your limbs and relax you mind as well as your muscles a bit.
