Expanded Driver Awareness Program

Improve Driving Skills and Confidence
Our Expanded Driver Awareness Program is a Colorado DMV approved option to meet the classroom requirement to get a driver’s permit for students age 15½-18.
- All drivers age 14½-15½ must complete a 30-hour driver education course before obtaining a learner’s permit.
- Drivers ages 15½-18 can complete either the 30-hour course or a 4-hour Driver Awareness Program before obtaining a permit or license.
Our 4-hour course covers defensive driving strategies and walks students through decision-making and safety scenarios using interactive tools and techniques. This class is a live, instructor-led course that students can join remotely from home on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
