Lesson 7
selecting a vehicle
Lesson 7
As you can imagine, we receive many questions from parents in regard to the selection of a vehicle for their teen. And there is no specific answer, but there are many considerations that parents will need to think about.
First – you need to clearly define the objective to make a good decision.
- What is the basic use and function of the vehicle?
- What are the most important systems of the vehicle that will give the most control to the driver?
- What is the best braking system, and how to use the new technology?
- What kind of tires?
- What are the auto insurance considerations?
Most importantly, a new driver needs to have a thorough understanding of the systems, and the limitations of specific types of vehicles. Many young drivers are injured and killed in car crashes because they do not understand the limitations, and do not know how to use the systems.
We believe this segment will give you a good understanding of how to define and select the right vehicle that meets your objectives.
